Pie Town Productions is a television production company specializing in unscripted reality and documentary programming. Founded in 1995, partners Tara Sandler, Jennifer Davidson and Scott Templeton have led Pie Town to produce over 3200 episodes of programming in a variety of different formats, from daily series to network specials to weekly reality shows. Since its beginning, Pie Town Productions has been involved in all aspects of television production, from concept development and production, to final delivery of product both domestically and abroad. From pre-production and initial storylines to the final edit, Pie Town Productions brings decades of knowledge and passion to their productions. Over the last twelve years Pie Town Productions has been responsible for more hours of television making it to the market than any other single production company. With a client list that includes TLC, Paramount, A&E, Women's Entertainment, Lifetime, Logo, CMT, The Weather Channel, Discovery Health, The Food Network, and Home & Garden Television, Pie Town has a proven track record of producing highly rated programming. Leading the way with story-based reality programming, Pie Town is best known for its compelling cinema-verite shows and style-based programming. Their commitment to their craft garnered an Emmy Award nomination in 2003 for their work on TLC's daytime blockbuster "A Baby Story". In 2006, Pie Town was honored with the Power Premiere award, saluting the company's commitment to celebrating diversity. 2007 has proven to be a banner year as well as it marks Pie Town's 12th Anniversary the completion of their 3200th episode of programming! Based in North Hollywood, California with a second office located in Chicago, Illinois, Pie Town is 200 producers strong with a solid infrastructure shaped by twelve years of hard work, creative thinking and fine tuning.
