A musician of some thirty years' experience, Rod Boyes set up the company with his wife Lou in 2012. They called their new venture 'Pinegrove' as a tribute to the well-known Cajun song "Pine Grove Blues" by Nathan Abshire. The first ever 'Pinegrove original' was a case for Rod's many harmonicas, made at their kitchen table using a vintage Zephyr sewing machine. That same summer, Pinegrove launched its first range at Festival at the Edge (www.festivalattheedge.org/) to an enthusiastic response - asking for honest feedback is very much part of Rod's style! Since then, Pinegrove's attention to great design and unwavering focus on meeting musicians' needs has resulted in a full range of products and many satisfied customers across the world. Pinegrove is very proud to employ a small workforce of locally based, skilled crafters. Customers being very happy drives Pinegrove Leather, hence our 100% satisfaction guarantee at all times. Our customer feedback track record is something we are very proud of and we always welcome feedback. The old packhorse bridge in Hebden Bridge, Pinegrove Leather's home town
