Located just 45 minutes north of San Diego, California, the Pinery has developed 110 acres into the largest grower of living trees in the country. Beginning as a small "Choose and Cut" tree farm over 25 years ago, The Pinery began producing live container grown trees in the early 1980's. Market demand for living Christmas trees developed along with increased public awareness of their environmental benefits. Through years of testing and development, The Pinery produces the highest quality living Christmas trees in the country. Today, The Pinery grows several varieties of living trees that are distributed throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Service, reliable delivery and uncompromising quality product has made The Pinery the premier grower of living trees. Using a proprietary blending of soil mixes prepared specifically for each variety, we hand-select only premium seedlings for planting. Dedicated Pinery craftsmen carefully groom and shear each tree to achieve a manicured shape appropriate for the container. Then, only the best of the finished product is selected for shipment. Whether it’s packed in individual carton boxes, loaded on shipping racks, or delivered in truckloads, you can be assured of receiving a fresh and fragrant tree worthy of the “Grown by The Pinery� label. The Pinery tree products can be ordered online year-long or through retail stores (garden centers, home centers, membership clubs, supermarkets, discount department stores, and hardware stores) during the Christmas holiday season.
