PKP Cargo is one of Polands largest and the EUs second largest rail freight operator. As a corporate group, it is one of the leading logistics operators in CEE. The company was established in 2001. In the area of logistics services, every day the Group provides its business partners with land transport operations and maritime operations. It owns the largest fleet of freight rolling stock in Poland. PKP Cargo runs a thousand of trains on average every day. It operates its own freight cargo services in Poland and seven other EU countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Lithuania. PKP Cargo Group includes subsidiary companies responsible for intermodal operations and national & international rail freight forwarding services. It operates its own intermodal terminals. The Group includes also one of Europes largest rolling stock servicing company.
