Plascon

Plascon has always and will always be committed to furthering the architectural and design industries. The inaugural theme of the Plascon Colour Design Awards 2014 is "Uplift", and improving impoverished and neglected social spaces is at the heart of the competition; this is also why it has been selected as an officially recognized project of the World Design Capital 2014 programme (one of 450). Plascon intends to show that urban spaces can be positively transformed through the use of design and colour, which makes a tangible difference to the daily lives of people who live, work and use that space.
