PLC Armidale is a wonderful school with a long and proud tradition of educating young women for the world of tomorrow. Our academic results are the best in the New England. I believe this is not only because of a highly professional and knowledgeable teaching staff but also because of the level of support we give our PLC students. Education is much more than classroom learning. At PLC we want students to understand the importance of their role in a community, to have a sense of wanting to give back to that community and to develop the strong relationships and sense of self that enable that to happen. We provide many opportunities for leadership, learning that connects students with the wider world and opportunities in sport, the arts and social service. These opportunities are essential for developing the adults the world of tomorrow needs - young women who are problem solvers, able to work in cross cultural contexts and able to work successfully in teams. Our Christian faith is emphasised in practical and living ways - we have a strong Christian tradition of social service. This is underpinned by teaching our students the importance of respect and relationship in all we do. Come and visit us - many visitors say they like the 'feel' of our school and the atmosphere.
