Police Health is Australia's only private health insurer run exclusively for the police by the police. Founded in 1935 as a not-for-profit health fund, we provide top quality cover with straight forward health insurance products for the policing community. This single-minded focus - and ability to deliver the best health cover at the best possible price - has resulted in us enjoying overwhelming loyalty. In South Australia where it all began, around 90 per cent of serving police are members. Since 2001 we have extended cover to the Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania where we are becoming the fund of choice among those policing communities. With the provision of new products in Victoria, New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory from 1 January 2015, Police Health now serves all policing jurisdictions.
