Polrail.com started as the Polish Train Page, the first (established on 14 October 1995) web site devoted to Polish railways. Since that time the site has continuously expanded, providing information for the traveller and promoting rail travel in Poland. After 11 years of operation as a non-profit site, in February 2006 Polrail.com moved into the commercial arena with the establishment of Polrail Service, a company registered in Poland.
