Programs provided by PML will be dynamic and customized to the needs of the world of work. In the Government Program 2014 and the Budget Speech 2017, the government has identified some emerging markets mainly, the Tourism and Hospitality sector, the ICT sector, the Agricultural sector, the Marine Sector and the Medical Sector. According to the statistics provided, there will be thousands of jobs created in all those sectors as the Government is expecting significant growth. To cope with the professional needs and demand of the upcoming market, Mauritius has the big responsibility to create the Human Capital needed to fit in. Polytechnics Mauritius has three campuses: The Reduit campus will focus on educating students for the demand of the ICT sector. Polytechnics Mauritius has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the CCNB in 2017 and are expected to start classes in 2018. The Pamplemousses campus focuses on the Medical Sector. MOU has been signed with the Mauritius Institute of Health in 2017 and has already launched its first classes in Nursing in late 2017. The Montagne Blanche Campus focuses on the Hospitality Sector which is the pillar of the economy actually. Negotiations for MOU with world class universities abroad is underway.
