Portasoft is among the pioneers of the water treatment industry. Over the years, the company has developed several processes and pieces of equipment that do a more efficient job of treating water. The company now holds 9 patents on water treatment equipment and has many "firsts" to its credit, including being the first in the industry to offer a cabinet model water softener. Garibaldi, Miller and Kent stay active in their industry as a participating member in the national certification programs offered by the Water Quality Association, a national organization promoting ethics and education in the water improvement industry. Attesting to the quality of their customer care is the A+ rating earned from the Better Business Bureau. All three reside in Union County, NJ, where they are very active within their community.
