Porter Bros
Porter Brothers was founded in 1939 by William S. "Bill" Porter, the grandfather of Gary Porter and Dennis Porter. During World War II, Bill Porter was in charge of construction at William's Air Force Base. Bill served 16 years in the State Legislature, including a term as president of the State Senate. After the war, he and his son Stan (Gary and Dennis' father) joined forces and started building state wide. In the late 1960's their construction business began to grow, and in 1974 Gary and Dennis joined their father in starting an affiliated company, now known as Porter Bros., Inc (dba Porter Brothers). Since 1974, Gary and Dennis have expanded the company to be a multi-state organization with completed projects in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, and Utah. Gary and Dennis are the primary owners and are heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Due to their commitment and the extended commitment of the company's employees, Porter Brothers has earned trust and respect from owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and has gained an admirable reputation for its work in commercial contracting. With over 75 years construction experience and customer loyalty, we believe that the success we have experienced in the past and the prosperity we have today will continue into the future. Two of Gary's sons, Chase and Chance, and Dennis' son, Preston, are excited to take the company into the future by moving it towards a fourth-generation, family-owned business.
