Powerflow Yoga strives to make people feel better inside and out. That's exactly what hot power yoga has done for Jerry LePore, owner. His story and leadership sum up the core values we have at Powerflow. We want to provide a safe and inspired space for you to heal and grow in all areas of your life-physically, mentally and spiritually. Jerry LePore came to yoga for the first time in 2007 after he found out he had Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL), a chronic and serious illness. Immediately, he knew he had found his path to healing. After establishing a consistent practice, his life improved so much that he knew he had to make yoga his life's work. So in 2008, Jerry left a successful business career to open the first Powerflow Yoga studio in Chatham. Jerry teamed up with Alison McCue, partner/vice president of operations/teacher, in 2014. Alison co-owned, managed and taught for Garden State Yoga for 6 years before joining forces with Jerry and Powerflow. She believes in PFY's intention to share yoga with every body, everywhere, as often as possible-and in the cleanest and friendliest environments. Following the principles they've learned through yoga, Jerry and Alison oversee Powerflow's 9 locations around New Jersey with the highest ethical standards. You may see Jerry and Alison practicing next to you in class. Be sure to say hello. They are always open to your comments, questions and concerns. They aim to provide expert teachers and meaningful experiences in all of your PFY classes. Visit our studios, meet our community and see what PFY has to offer. We lead power, basics, yin and restorative classes plus many more. We lead several Yoga Alliance-approved 200- and 300-hour teacher trainings. We host training immersions, weekend workshops and even retreats. We hope you find your yoga home with us.
