PowerPlay NYC

PowerPlay serves over 600 girls each year, ranging in age from 8-17 , per year. PowerPlay programming has been offered in all five boroughs of New York City and is concentrated in low-income and underserved communities. PowerPlay currently provides programming to girls in the south Bronx; Harlem, Chinatown, the Lower East Side and Upper West Side of Manhattan; Jamaica and Elmhurst, Queens; and Sunset Park, Red Hook, Crown Heights, Bedford-Stuyvesant and the Seth Low, Ingersoll and Williamsburg NYCHA Community Centers in Brooklyn. PowerPlay participants are predominantly girls of color, from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds.
