Preproduction Plastics Inc. (PPI) is a family owned and operated business specializing in Structural Foam molding. For the last quarter century our ISO 9001:2008 and UL certified plastic molding facility has been helping customers design, produce and bring to market, very high quality plastic products at competitive prices. Our modern company offers post mold painting, kitting, and assembly requirements for programs ranging from single stand-alone products to complex, multi-component, multi-operation programs. This assertiveness and our attention to detail has allowed us to build exceptional relationships with our customers. Our 80 plus employees operate within 45,000 square feet of total plant area. This covers our sales, engineering, machine shop, mold making, molding, part finishing, part packaging and warehouse activity. This makes us quite unique in the industry. It positions us with the opportunity to better cater to our customers by giving them the attention to quality and customer service they deserve. At PPI we utilize state of the art CAD/CAM systems for mold design/mold making. Our machine shop has nine CNC machining centers with EDM capability allowing us to quickly turn around custom molds and mold repair. We operate eleven molding machines which range in size from 100-1100 ton and shot size as large as 45lbs. This allows us to make structural foam, gas counter pressure, gas assist and standard injection molded parts.
