Prairie Travelers

Founded by president and CEO, Barbara Lawson, RN, Prairie Travelers was one of the first temporary nurse staffing agencies in Montana. Moreover, Prairie Travelers has continued its evolution as a health care staffing agency since its inception in 2000. Barbara recognized the staffing challenges that health care facilities were facing and their need for temporary nurse staffing early on. She recognized that Health care facilities rely on nurse travelers to maintain standard level of care for facilities served. Prairie Travelers employs staff in many cities and towns throughout Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. A traveling position is an attractive option for nurse professionals seeking the diversity of working in multiple facilities or locations and wanting the flexibility of selecting their own work schedule. Assignments can range anywhere from a single day or multiple days on up to 13-week assignments. Travelers choose the shifts, dates and locations they prefer! With the growing demand and increased competition around temporary staffing services, Prairie Travelers has a new mission and vision. Our goal now is to be the premiere health care staffing solution in the region, said Barbara. We have our sight set on providing high quality nursing personnel and offering the best service experience possible to our clients. Now recruiting the following part time and full time positions: MONTANA: Seeking RNs, LPNs and CNAs to work hospital, emergency room, long-term care and psychiatric settings. NORTH DAKOTA: Seeking CNAs, LPNs, Medication Aides and RNs to work acute care and long-term care settings throughout ND and SD.
