Preston Manor School

Preston Manor is a very inclusive school. All children and students are treated as individuals and we are strongly committed to equality of opportunity. This ethos reflects the school motto, Munus Prae Jure, which dates back to our opening in 1938. It can be translated loosely as 'Responsibility before rights', or even 'Do the right thing'. Despite our past successes, we continue to seek new challenges and opportunities to help children fulfil their potential, both academically and socially, so that they leave us with the widest range of choices in a challenging society. e are very excited to be welcoming our first classes of primary age children now that we are an all-through school. We want every child to feel part of the school community but our primary provision has its own personality with specialist staff, separate buildings and dedicated play areas. Children who join Preston Manor in the primary phase can stay with us throughout their school career, making lifelong friendships and moving smoothly from one phase to the next. As places are guaranteed until 18 and siblings are prioritised in the admissions process, all family members will be able to attend the same school.
