At Prime Oak we believe that quality is paramount. Not just in the fine oak buildings we create for our customers but also in our day-to-day dealings with them. All Prime Oak windows and doors are handcrafted in our own workshops to give us full control of standards and quality. Every window and door is of traditional flush casement design to best complement the period appearance of our buildings. We believe that this attention to detail is key to creating the atmospheric oak-framed building you have entrusted us to design and construct on your behalf. A Prime Oak frame is pre-constructed in our own workshops. Once on site, the frame is re-erected to provide a solid framework that ties together the building's structure securely. The true quality of any oak-framed building is dictated by its design and relies on the quality of every timber within the framework for its longevity, durability and practicality. We carefully select our oak to ensure that the grain runs in the right direction. Then, as the timber naturally dries and shrinks, any movement follows the grain pattern in a predictable fashion so that the framework fulfils its structural role whilst maintaining its natural character and unique visual appeal. Oak's timeless beauty, rugged strength and handsome grain have added grace and warmth to innumerable structures from cart sheds and country barns to fine homes and manor houses.
