Prizmah

Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools offers all Jewish day schools a one-stop-shop opportunity to strengthen and grow holistically. Schools can address needs in governance and development, teaching and learning, leadership, and will receive concierge and customized services that are tailored to meet their individual needs. In fact, we place an emphasis on the individual needs of schools - be it religious needs and sensitivities, communal needs, or demographic needs - we meet schools where they are at, and help them reach the milestones that are right for them. The multifaceted nature of Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools is derived from the five founding organizations from which we are built: PARDES, PEJE, RAVSAK, Schechter, and YUSP. These organizations, independently and collectively, served a cadre of schools through programs, services, knowledge, and resources in governance and development, teaching and learning, leadership development and placement, 21st century learning, field-wide data and research, and administrative support. Once a year they came together to convene the field under the umbrella of the North American Jewish Day School Conference. Witnessing the impact of the conference - of schools coming together and learning from each other - inspired the notion that we should be doing the same on a more permanent level. And, so, we asked ourselves: What would happen? What would happen if we took the best of what each of our organizations has to offer, pool our talents and expertise, and maximize our capacity? How would that impact our schools? How would that impact our children? The possibilities that we began to see could not be ignored. And so we took the leap. In Summer 2016, Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools was launched, and because of the vision and the groundbreaking work of our founding organizations, we are running at full throttle - with signature programs already in place and with the energy, creativity and optimism to design and deliver fresh ideas and new program models to benefit all schools and groups of schools. Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools was founded because the whole can be so much more than the sum of its parts.
