Special Risks Ltd now provides the PFA with a Pro-Secure Personal Accident & sickness Insurance Policy for every professional player in England and Wales, and will continue to do so for the next 3 years. The PFA and Special Risks Ltd have launched a tailor-made Career Ending Insurance Policy designed to protect the PFA's 4000 members, ranging from Senior Premiership Players to young trainees. The policy will pay a tax-free lump sum if a player's career is ended by injury.
