ProCure Proton Therapy Center

ProCure Treatment Centers, Inc. (ProCure) is a privately held healthcare company that provides proton therapy to patients with cancer. ProCure's comprehensive approach begins with the development of proton therapy centers and continues through the delivery of clinical care. ProCure was founded by John Cameron, Ph.D., to improve the lives of patients with cancer by increasing access to proton therapy. Dr. Cameron, a pioneer in the field of particle physics, played a pivotal role in the creation of the Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute (MPRI), Bloomington, Ind., the third proton therapy center to be developed in the United States. When Dr. Cameron founded ProCure in 2005, he brought together a skilled senior management team of proton therapy experts, who, prior to joining ProCure, played a role in advancing proton therapy technology, construction and operation at a number of the centers currently operating or under development in the United States and internationally.
