Prodevelop

PRODEVELOP, S.L. is an SME employing 80 engineers most of them computing, telecommunication, industrial and cartography engineers, located in Valencia and Barcelona, Spain. PRODEVELOP is specialized in consulting, development, deploying, and operating geospatial solutions based on free and open source software. The success in our projects is based on the acquired experience in geospatial industry, and the collaboration with the main developers groups in the world. The research lines at PRODEVELOP include mobile mapping, interoperability of sensor systems through SWE (Sensor Web Enablement), geoprocessing services, embedded software, geospatial technologies in mobile, desktop, Web and service environments, and modeling software system. PRODEVELOP main products are geospatial desktop and web applications, precision agriculture management systems as well as a complete set of products related with the maritime sector. PRODEVELOP has been working on software engineering and geospatial projects over the last 20 years, continuously evolving and adapting to new approaches, and plans to keep working on the use of cloud and big data technologies to create innovative products. One of the outcomes of the DICE project which is considered of special impact is the MOSKitt (contributed by Prodevelop) integrated tool CASE supporting the quality models for computation and infrastructure and deployment capabilities for public and private clouds. PRODEVELOP will act as geospatial use-case provider with the specification and development of a geo-fencing functionality based on DICE quality framework.
