All Players who represent Proehlific Park in team play will play under the name POWER, which represents the core values and guiding principles of Proehlific Park. PLAY - The spontaneous activity of children. Above all else Proehlific Park is a place where kids can just play sports and have fun with adult supervision, but without adult intrusion or interruption. OPPORTUNITY - A good chance or occasion to advance oneself. At Proehlific Park all kids will have the opportunity to not only play but also develop their athletic and academic skills to the highest level possible. WORK - Sustained physical or mental effort to overcome obstacles and achieve an objective or result. Although the emphasis is on play, Proehlific Park members will be coached in such a way as to develop a work ethic that will prepare them for success on the fields and courts, in the classroom and in life. EXCELLENCE - The state, quality or condition of excelling; superiority. Proehlific Park pledges to pursue excellence in every aspect of our operation and will work tirelessly with each individual member and team to help them achieve excellence in every aspect of their lives. RESPECT - To feel or show honor or esteem for; to hold in high regard. Everyone associated with Proehlific Park will be expected to be respectful of the games they are privileged to play, exhibiting humility in victory and grace in defeat. Respect for the rules, teammates, coaches and officials will be the standard by which Proehlific Park will operate. Additionally, members of Proehlific Park will be guided in the importance of respect for one's body through proper nutrition, training and the avoidance of banned substances.
