Project Fleri
Founded in summer 2019, Project Fleri is a transitional living home that works to provide foster care for impoverished children, while ensuring they have quality education and future job opportunities. Project Fleri is located in Vivy Michelle and houses children ranging from 7 - 22 years old, whose sponsors pay for their schooling and daily living expenses. The organization has seen immense amounts of success in its unique approach to sustainable development in Haiti. Project Fleri is focused on the family, and we are proud to say that we have a foster home where children experience a family dynamic, as well as working to reunify families by all possible means. We are dedicated to empowering individuals to be independent through job creation. All of the employees of the project are local Haitians, allowing them to provide education, food, and housing for their families. We will strive to enhance business opportunities for our youth and their families, including opportunities to work for Project Fleri. Eventually, we would like to start a viable business of our own, that will solely hire members of the community and ultimately be an effort towards sustainable business practices in Haiti.
