Proplastics

Proplastics is a leading supplier of world class plastic pipe systems for water and sewer reticulation to SouthernAfrica. Established in 1965, Proplastics has 50 years of experience in the industry and has grown and evolved on the back of its philosophy of constant and never ending improvement to become the leading player in Zimbabwe with a significant market share in the SADC region. The company has the capacity to convert more than 12 000 tonnes of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) annually. Products are manufactured in an ISO9001:2008 certified factory. Proplastics is also certified to ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Management Systems. Certification to these systems form the backbone of the Proplastics' customized manufacturing and service delivery processes to ensure world class standards are followed in all aspects of the business. Proplastics' products therefore carry the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (SAZ) and South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) marks of quality in fulfillment of the company's mission "to deliver world class pipe solutions and create sustainable value for our stakeholders". Proplastics is the only Zimbabwean company that is a member of Southern African Plastic Pipe Manufacturers Association (SAPPMA). SAPPMA's very purpose is to "create absolute consumer confidence within the Plastic Pipe Industry and to ensure the long term health & sustainability of high quality plastic pipes and pipe systems".
