Protisruti is a leading Drug Rehabilitation Center (Licensed under Narcotics Department of Bangladesh) and a social welfare organization (Registered with ministry of Social Welfare) located in the Sylhet city of Bangladesh. It is specially for those who are suffering from addiction to drugs and/or alcohol. At Protisruti, we serve a long term residential drug rehabilitation/treatment facility and has been in operation since 01-01-2004, helping approximately 100 men a year to find freedom from addiction and live happy, peaceful and productive life through our unique treatment approach based on Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Therapeutic Community (TC) method. Who needs a Drug Rehabilitation Center ? A drug rehabilitation center is designed for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol. In many cases, their lives are out of control because of their addictions and they need outside help. Drug addiction is more of a psychological problem than physical chemical dependency and it is not possible to recover from this sickness by taking some antidotes or by getting admitted in to a detoxification center. An addict needs some extra care to improve his/her behavior disorder, mental strength and peace, spiritual thoughts and religious beliefs to recover from addiction and only a rehabilitation center focuses on these things as key ingredients in the drug treatment process for an addict.
