Read more to see what kind of commitment to quality care you too can expect for your child at Pediatric Therapy Services offices in Lakeland and Brandon, FL: To the family of PTS of Brandon, It is a bittersweet day for Addison and I today. fter almost 5 years of therapy services here at your facility, Addison's last day is today.Bittersweet, because as we are beyond thrilled and so proud of Addi that she has not only met her goals as well as exceeded some age appropriate benchmarks, but sad to leave all your faces we have come to know so well. The therapists we have worked with these past few years not only helped Addison meet her goals in a professional manner, but I can easily say that each one of her therapists, I know without a shadow of a doubt, cared about the person she is and her development. o thank you, from the bottom of this mother's heart.Thank you for the patience shown, the love that was felt, the dedication to your work, that I not only had the privilege in witnessing with Addison, but in so many of the patients that come into this facility each week. Thank you to Marie, who I know has moved on to other opportunities, but all the same, thank you from a mother who walked in with a 12-month-old and a diagnosis of hypotonia, not knowing a clue what that word meant for her daughter.Thank you for your patience, for the encouragement of BOTH Addi and I, for explaining to me how this all worked and for the friendship that grew from these appointments. Thank you to Erica who helped Addi find her words to express herself.Thank you for helping us push past repeated phrases and into expressive thoughts.Thank you for helping her work through frustrated moments and teaching her to ask appropriately.Thank you for all of the advice that was given when it came to thoughts of starting school and troubleshooting those moments.Thank you for being an ear to listen to me as I worked out these thoughts and concerns as well. Thank you to Diana, who has worked with both of my kids.Thank you for finding those techniques that would work as a cool down time and a wind down moment that has not only been implemented in our home, but in school as well.Thank you to opening my eyes to things she naturally gravitates to and what that means for her. Thank you to Gia, who we have only known for a short time in PT, but you have made the transition from Marie to a new therapist very easy. our enthusiasm motivates Addison in a fantastic way and we have walked out so many times from therapy with a "that was fun! from Addison's mouth.Thank you for the work you have done. I am always happy to share our experience at PTS with friends who are seeking therapy services for their own children. t is a joy to watch you all work with these kids and I hope every therapist here knows that they are an encouragement to parents, because these small successes are huge ones in our eyes. I am happy to share that as Addi exits, she is currently marked "above level" in her reading and math at school, her social interaction is a positive one, making many friends, and she is being tested soon for the gifted program. f we share with anyone that Addi has had some struggles in her physical development, it always comes as a surprise because it is unnoticeable to those around her. he is on a very positive road and PTS has had much to do with that.
