Pure Source was founded in 1996 and initially provided web hosting and Internet connectivity services. In fact, we were most likely the first company in New York that could boast of providing co-location services for IBM AS400 minicomputers along with the more popular Linux, Solaris and Windows servers. Over the years, in response to client needs, Pure Source focused increasingly on web development and developed a special focus on the creation of custom Content Management Services and custom E-Commerce solutions. Along the way, our founder, Herbert Samuels, also played foundational roles in helping establish viability of the New York technology scene as a leader in the Wold Wide Web Artist's Consortium. Herbert also has held leadership roles in Fortune 100 technology and investment banking firms. Starting in 2008, Pure Source began to work with advertising companies in the New York area on a large number of client campaigns and provided strategic technology direction to agencies. Our experience and expertise with core Internet technologies, combined with over a decade of direct involvement with B2C and B2B marketing uniquely prepare us to solve the challenges faced by marketing agencies in the current evolving landscape. In response to these challenges, Pure Source has been rebuilt to deliver middle-office services such as website production and support, analytics implementation and integration services via a nimble, responsive partnership model.
