We strive to make PVIS a place where everyone feels welcome and an integral part of our community. We strive to be 'one school' where students experience a seamless transition from the Early Education Centre right through to Senior Secondary Schooling. Our school utilises the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) of Australia in our Early Education Centre, with the Primary and Secondary School utilizing the Australian Curriculum. 2018 sees the implementation of the Stage 1 (Year 11) SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) curriculum with students completing Stage 2 (Year 12) in 2019. This will offer our students the opportunity to attain an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) that will allow them to apply for direct access to universities in Australia, New Zealand and around the world. Our curriculum documents and curriculum plans have been derived from materials downloaded from the Australian Curriculum website (http://www.australiancurriculum.edu.au/) accessed from 2018 and modified to align with local context. Port Vila International School utilises the resources from Version 8.3 of the Australian Curriculum under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) licence (Creative Commons licence).
