Pyramid Entertainment Group, Inc. is a premiere full service talent booking agency founded in 1988 by Sal Michaels. Sal currently serves as Pyramid's owner and CEO and is a 40 year veteran of the music business having begun his career at NWA/GTI in the disco era of the 70's by signing Gloria Gaynor, the underground queen of disco. Shortly thereafter, Sal found that no agency was representing any of the rising disco artists and proceeded to sign nearly all of them resulting in his promotion to partner within the agency. He went on to represent music icons including, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Rick James, Gladys Knight, KC & the Sunshine Band, the Commodores and countless others. He continues to represent legends of the industry including Kool & the Gang, Village People, Sister Sledge, Color Me Badd, Bootsy Collins and many others who remain the staple of Pyramid Entertainment's artist roster. Sal Michaels brings his years of experience, along with his knowledgeable and highly efficient staff, to create a pleasant and stress free booking experience. Virginia Aversano, his wife and partner has been with the company since it's inception and is the backbone of the company serving as Controller. Seth Cohen, now a partner and agent, joined the team in 2003 as Sal's assistant. Seth has remained an honest, straight shooting, loyal and hardworking agent who has stayed by Sal's side to help build the solid foundation Pyramid rests upon and making it one of the most reputable agencies in the business. Matt Santo, now a Jr partner and agent, joined Pyramid in 2000 as an assistant in the contemporary R&B and hip hop department and has been integral in helping to build the agency as well. His laid back personality and knowledge of music is a huge asset to our team. Douglas Varrichio, formerly an accountant for a division of the NY Yankees, came to Pyramid in 2016 as Sal's assistant. Showing his tremendous ambition over the last 2 years, he has been promoted to agent and Jr partner in 2018 while also serving as Sal Michaels' assistant.
