QAS Copak

QAS COPAK operates from two locations in Central Scotland - Kirkcaldy in Fife and Linwood near Glasgow. The Kirkcaldy headquarters property provides 100,000 sq ft of production and warehousing, including an HM Customs approved bonded area and a food standard hygienic packing area. In addition, QAS recently added a further 80,000 sq. ft. high bay warehouse property close to its Kirkcaldy operating centre. This has substantially increased the racked and block stacked storage capability of QAS in the Fife area. The Linwood property is fully approved as an HM Customs bonded production unit and covers 50,000 sq ft. The Linwood facility is within the W H Malcolm logistics complex and access on site to extensive additional storage areas and wider supply chain services are therefore readily available. QAS also has a 50,000 sq ft warehouse in Warrington, Cheshire where it provides a range of storage and distribution services to a local customer base. Customer production requirements are subjected to a detailed analysis based on work-study principles. Specific tasks are defined and operational procedures are agreed for individual contracts. The majority of QAS COPAK customers operate on a short lead time and therefore depend on a high quality, reliable service. The company operates an integrated computerised inventory management system based on Pegasus software to back up its operational activities. Management information reports are produced on request to meet individual customer requirements. QAS COPAK can if required provide a ONE STOP service arranging the full process, from collection of products and components, through additional processing to delivery to any destination specified.
