Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College
Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College is committed to the values of the Disability Discrimination Act (2005). The College seeks to create an environment which is supportive and inclusive and we have a good track record of working with students with disabilities to help them to be successful on their courses and to participate fully in the life of the college. By constantly developing this scheme, we intend to ensure that disability equality becomes even more deeply embedded in our practices and that people with disabilities who are involved as students, members of staff, or in any other way with the College community, have an ongoing involvement in this process. Whilst some consultation with people with disabilities has already taken place at the College, we intend to expand the scope of this dialogue as our scheme continues to grow in response to the needs of people with disabilities. The steps towards this further consultation are evident later in the scheme. Our values in relation to disability are currently set out in our Equal Opportunities Policy.
