Queen's House

Here at Queen's House, we actively encourage input on all aspects of the Care Home operation from residents, relatives and staff. To this end, we hold regular resident, relative and staff meetings, where individuals can raise issues, offer suggestions and generally provide constructive input so that we can continuously improve our quality of service. All our care staff are either working towards, or already have, a Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 2 (SVQ2) as a minimum. To assist in this process, we have our own trained assessors who guide SVQ trainees through their SVQ courses. As well as encouraging our staff to attend relevant external training events, we also run a selection of courses in-house which all help our employees increases their knowledge and enhance the overal quality of care for our residents.
