RAESCH Quarz

RAESCH is an established supplier of quartz glass tubing and fabricated components for a variety of applications: specialist lighting, sun-tanning, UV water treatment, solar panels, automobile components, semiconductors. We started operations in Germany in 1990 and set up a manufacturing centre for quartz glass components in Malta in 1997. We produce our own clear quartz glass tubing - branded RQ (for Raesch Quartz), and translucent quartz glass tubing - marketed as Novosil, at our furnace plant in Langewiesen (Thuringia), Germany. The range of RQ clear quartz glass tubing includes undoped material (RQ 200) as well as several doped (UV block) materials (e.g. RQ 235, RQ 350) including material that meets the US FDA standards (RQ 245). Raesch supplies quartz tubing in a wide range of diameters, from around 5 mm to over 300 mm, the larger diameters required mainly by the semiconductor industry. Material is supplied up to the highest purity level demanded in the industry, i.e. OH content ≤ 1 ppm. Fabricated quartz glass components are custom-made for a variety of customers including market leaders such as BLV Licht- und Vakuumtechnik, Heraeus Noblelight, Osram, Philips, Radium Lampenwerk, Sylvania in Europe. Raesch also has a growing market for fabricated components in Japan, China and the US.
