About RailDreams: Since 1994, RailDreams® teams have been building award-winning model railroads for commercial display, museums and individuals. Under the founding leadership of Richard Taylor (NMRA Master Model Railroader #237), RailDreams® developed innovative techniques for layout construction that result in a solid, light-weight and portable layout. Using modern materials such as foam, lightweight laminates and modern DCC electronics, RailDreams® layouts are truly state-of-the-art. Most important to the discerning model railroader, a finished RailDreams® layout is truly a unique work of art, not mass produced in any way. Each layout is designed and built as a combination of the reflection of the desires of the owner and the historical, geography and railroad knowledge and artistic skills of the RailDreams® team members. The era modeled, the season of the year and the environment of the area the railroad will service all reflect each individual Client’s dream layout. Unlike any other form of railroad “art”, each layout is truly a personal work of art. After 13 years in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan, RailDreams® relocated its business offices to the beautiful southwest coast of Florida in 2009! There is much to see and enjoy throughout our new home state, but we are particularity proud to be part of the Collier County area and its wonderful business environment. Layouts and models are built in several shops located in Michigan, Florida, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada and New York.
