Rainbow Yoga

Rainbow Yoga is all about connection; connecting to yourself, to the world and to the people around you. Connecting in all of those ways changes the world! We are social animals and we crave connection. We want to feel that we belong, we don't want to be lonely. We want to touch, to share, to give and receive love. That's what Rainbow Yoga is all about! The yoga we create is communal, interactive and fun! Rainbow Yoga celebrates life and brings people together! The old paradigm of yoga is practicing on your own, on your own individual yoga mat, for your own self-realisation and for your own self development, whether physical, mental or spiritual. The new paradigm that we present is social yoga. Instead of contracting and going within to plug into life and find happiness, we expand to connect and weave into everything around us. This creates a real sense of aliveness. We thrive as we grow and open to a life and yoga that is much more fulfilling. In the "old" yoga we withdrew into ourselves to find inner joy and peace. In this new yoga we learn to expand ourselves and discover that happiness is not only within, but also all around us. Contraction is limiting and narrowing while expansion is freeing. The more we expand ourselves to include others, the more fun and meditative the feeling becomes. Coming off the individual yoga mat to explore the connection with friends and people in the community, we step out of the yoga box and come to practice in the yoga circle. In Rainbow Yoga we connect with touch, we massage, we hug, we dance, we move together. We co-create the class in a magical way that creates a playful space for everybody to feel loved and nurtured. Rainbow Yoga offers a variety of unique yoga teacher trainings all over the world. Our trainings offer a well-rounded, in-depth learning through play, practical theory and tons of fun! You will be left feeling expanded and with a huge smile on your face. You will take home a wealth of knowledge and an ignited spirit to spread the love and joy of yoga. You will help make the world a better place, one person at a time. Our unique style of community yoga has won the hearts of thousands of people all around the world. We are not just a training, we are a movement. We are passionate about creating new ways to bring people closer together. Connecting people in body, mind and spirit. Through social and inter-generational yoga. We have trained over 12,000 yoga teachers through our Rainbow Kids Yoga, Rainbow Partner Yoga, 200 and 300 hour Yoga Specialisation Teacher Training. In a competitive world, there can be hundreds of yoga teachers in every city, we want to offer you the best start. We believe the key to being a successful yoga teacher is not only to have passion and knowledge, but a specialisation that answers the needs of your community. Both our short and long courses are a wonderful way to start your yoga career. Whether this is your first yoga teacher training or you are an experienced yoga teacher looking to specialise. The Rainbow Yoga 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher trainings are a unique journey for those who are interested in specialising in yoga for all ages, from pre-natal to seniors. The training is a total immersion into the womb and back out. We play yoga from a baby's point of view through to a child's; then continue to adolescents, adults, partners and community. We move into senior years with a lot of fun and juiciness in between. From partnership and pre-natal to forming a family and strengthening a community, be ready to be inspired and inspire the world with Rainbow Yoga! The one thread that weaves through all of the yoga specialties we teach, whether for children or adults, is connection. Connection is our spin on yoga and what we choose to emphasise and celebrate in our teachings.
