At RAKKS, we love it when we stumble upon photos of our products in action. Houzz.com is a great resource for unique, innovative architectural projects. This is precisely how we came across our shelves being used in an award-winning house renovation by MAK Design-Build. MAK is a full-service residential design-build construction company located in Davis, CA. They are a company focused on making a big impression on their customers and a small dent on the planet. MAK strives to create timeless, durable, low-impact solutions for their clients, and strives to incorporate green building features and products as a component of their commitment to quality building. RAKKS shelving has been incorporated into multiple MAK projects. One project, which won MAK the NARI 2012 Contractor of the Year Award for an entire house remodel for less than $250,000, is a home project the firm named "Worlds Better". MAK's task was to open the interior up to give the family room to live comfortably, as well as display art and other treasures which represented many locations and cultures around the world. This is how RAKKS shelves were utilized.
