Rancho Sotol

Rancho Sotol was created by a group of friends who have been working in real estate in Baja since 2002. They felt that the real estate industry was overly focused on profit and failed to take into consideration the impact of land developments on the local environment and surrounding communities. Out of these frustrations, they worked to conceptualize a new kind of planned community that would emphasize environmental and cultural protection over profit. Rancho Sotol is a project born out of years of research and experience living in beautiful Baja. At Rancho Sotol, we are inspired to give back to the place that we love. We believe that the health and well-being of all people is tied to the preservation and conservation of the natural world, and our work strives to create synergy between the two. Our commitment to a sustainable community comes from a deep appreciation of the natural wonder of this unique environment.
