R&D Construction Ltd was originally formed in 1986, dealing with all the elements of civil engineering, construction and specialist plant. Through its focus on civil engineering and construction the company has achieved steady and substantial growth, whilst always taking pride in producing high quality work, in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner. Our Clients vary from large developers and contractors, local authorities and Utility companies to private individuals, for whom we have delivered a wide range of projects with values ranging from £1,000 to £5 million. In June 2012 R&D Construction expanded its Board of Directors with the appointment of Wayne Hayes as Chairman. Wayne brings years of experience from senior management and board positions in the electricity supply industry; including Lamva Electrical & Civil Engineers, and from his role as Group Managing Director of the Freedom Group of Companies. R&D Construction now has a wealth of experience in the electricity and civil engineering markets from which, in association with our partner organisations and specialist supplies, we are able to carry out all aspects of your proposed projects, including full turnkey project services, design, supply, installation, maintenance and commissioning. As an innovative and forward thinking company, R&D Construction is dedicated to investing in new technology, specialist plant and equipment, and its workforce, as our company core calues indicate. R&D Construction are members of ROSPA, CHAS and SSIP (safety schemes in procurement), CECA and our excellent health, safety and environmental manangement performance is indicative of the commitment shown by the management team to strive for continuous improvement. The company has a zero tolerative attitude towards unsafe acts. We are also registered under Lloyds NERS scheme as a 1st tier Contractor for excavation and cable laying up to and including 33kV.
