The company rapidly established a reputation for expertise in consultancy, design, product selection, installation, commissioning and support. Major customers included leading Telecommunication companies, local government, health and education establishments and many SMEs. The Senior Management Team, Managing Director Richard Watson and Technical Director Stuart Wilson, are Wireless veterans, having between them over 40 years' experience in every aspect of the industry. Rapier's mission remains to provide the very best in class, and best value for money, Wireless (including WiFi) solutions. Customers range from SMEs to Local and Central Government, companies in the Transport and Renewable Energy sector and the Oil and Gas Industry. With offices in England and Scotland Rapier covers the whole of the UK. The company is responsible for some of the most innovative deployments of wireless technology in the UK, including the largest metropolitan area wireless network in Scotland and the first fully licensed 1Gb Wireless link (for an NHS Trust in England).
