Rapp Bomek offer a broad range of products related to the safeguarding of security aboard oil installations. Today, the company is Europe's leading provider of fire-rated heavy, medium and light steel doors to offshore and onshore installations. Together with its sister companies, the group now provides a total rage of fire doors (from A60 to H120) to clients worldwide. These include explosion-proof hinged and sliding doors, gas-tight doors and automatic fire doors. Other products in the Rapp Bomek product range include marine equipment such as watertight doors and hatches, and mooring equipment. The Group has entered into long-term maintenance and security agreements. Today Rapp Bomek has assumed this responsibility for several lagre installations. Rapp Bomek has developed a superior international network enabling it to serve a worldwide customer base. The majority of its sales activity originates from Bodø, Norway, which is carried out in close collaboration with independent sales agents and partners around the world. In November 2012, the private equity fund NORD II took over as the new owner of the Rapp Bomek Group. One of its objectives is to assist in further developing the Bodø-based industrial group through growth in the global market.
