Raskl is a multidisciplinary creative company specialising in 3D solutions. This covers the design and production of highly personalised and individual furniture & lifestyle products, interior problem solving for architects as well as offering prototyping services to the furniture & product design, interiors, architecture and construction industries. From lavish interior-design fit-outs for homes and receptions to batch-produced mechanical components or prototyping & manufacture for other designers and makers, Raskl approaches all projects with the same enthusiasm and passion for the ethos of 'less is more', concentrating on the essence of a job and stripping away the unnecessary. Most work is focussed on their robotic CNC workshop which allows computer-designed components to be accurately and consistently produced in a wide range of materials. However, using these tools more as an extension to their artistic abilities than simply a way to boost efficiency and output means they can seriously broaden the scope of what is possible and be much more ambitiously imaginative at the conception of a new project. This goes hand in hand with their traditional craft skills in woodwork and metalwork. The company is owned and run by a team who share a long history of creative projects, concept development and furniture design and manufacture. They have a wealth of experience working with engineering grade laminates and sheet materials, hardwood, metals, glass and plastics. Raskl approaches each design as a new and exciting opportunity to conceive an original idea either in form or function. The story behind the way a particular piece is made is often as interesting and innovative as the way it looks.
