Royal Agricultural Society of NSW
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is a not for profit organisation established in 1822 to raise the standards of agriculture in Australia. Today the RAS continues to support and promote Australian agricultural excellence and innovation through events, competition and education. The RAS is responsible for organising and staging the Sydney Royal Easter Show, managing Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park, organising the Sydney Royal Wine, Dairy and Fine Food Shows and operating the Australasian Animal Registry. Most recently the RAS has established the RAS Foundation to further support Agricultural excellence. See below for further information.
