Rays MFI

Rays MFI is an inception of few individuals that have deep-rooted desire to contribute to or play a role towards mitigating the vulnerability and poverty of low-income people in Somali region. They themselves belong to the Somali national group of Ethiopian Somali, born and live in the region, have well developed experience in the areas of business and developmental endeavours, and have good understanding about the contribution or role of one of the development tools, i.e. access to finance to mitigate the vulnerability and poverty of low-income people. Thus, they shared their idea to like-minded fellows that gained remarkable acceptance, which in turn led to the establishment of a microfinance institution.
