Robert Cottingham Property Management

The Robert Cottingham Property Management Company was established and incorporated in 1980 and organized under the laws of the State of Illinois. The Robert Cottingham Property Management Company is a locally owned real estate organization specializing in fee management of real estate in Central Illinois. The company is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the National Center for Housing Management (NCHM), and the National Assisted Housing Management Association (NAHMA). The principals of the firm are Robert V. Cottingham, President, and Lillian J. Cottingham, Secretary. Three members of the company including Mr. Cottingham have been awarded the designation of Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Nineteen resident managers and assistant managers have been awarded the designation of Accredited Residential Manager from the IREM. The Robert Cottingham Company has acted as a consultant to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Lincoln, Illinois, establishing marketing and management offices for Friendship Manor Apartments in Lincoln, Illinois, and Fellowship Center Apartments in Mattoon, Illinois, both Section 8/202 elderly developments operated by the organization. In addition, the Robert Cottingham Company has acted as Development Consultant to B'nai B'rith Covenant House of Peoria, Inc., II and was successful in obtaining federal funding sufficient to construct a 70 unit second phase to the existing B'nai B'rith facility. Most recently, Robert Cottingham Property Management Company participated in the development of St. Sharbel Apartments Phase II funded under the Section 202 Capital Advance Program.
