Reconstruction Services

Reconstruction Services was formed in 2000 to complement the work of Richard Avelar & Associates (RA&A) - an architectural and construction consulting firm that provides expertise relating to construction defect analysis and litigation. While we are affiliated with RA&A, we are a separately owned, licensed and insured company. We combine our principals' design and construction experience with specific expertise in construction litigation and reconstruction. Working with RA&A during the litigation phase, we can transfer that specific knowledge to the building repair phase for a more efficient project delivery. As a Design-Build contractor - versus the traditional Design-Bid-Build process - we offer a single point of responsibility and reduced design and administration expenses. Our team-based, Design-Build approach is a well-established system embraced by the American Institute of Architects. Reconstruction Services has worked with RA&A to successfully complete repair work on thousands of residential units ranging from single family homes to large condominium developments. We also work separately from RA&A on Design-Bid-Build projects.
