Our reach extends beyond our warehouse and retail establishments into our community through local sponsorships and charitable donations. We do not just deliver beer. We create opportunities and generate profitable returns for our Employees, Customers, Wholesalers, & Community year after year. Our History - Redding Distributing Company is majority owned and managed by the Jensen family. After college in 1969, Dave Jensen took a job at Haralambos Beverage Company in Los Angeles working his way up the ladder from sweeping floors to the Vice President of Sales. In 1979, Dave moved his family to Redding and later on purchased Diversified Distributing, which evolved into Redding Distributing. Today Dave is the majority owner along with his partner Al Shuffleberger who owns a minority stake in the company. In 2011, Dave turned many of his duties over to his son Chase who is now the General Manager of the family business. Since Dave moved to Redding in 1979 the business has grown from 10 employees with annual sales of 400,000 cases to the premier beverage company in the north state with nearly 70 employees and approximately 1.8 million cases sold annually. Today, Redding Distributing proudly represents a portfolio of over 30 leading international, domestic, & local beer companies as well as wine, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages. Redding Distributing provides service to nearly 700 accounts in Shasta, Trinity, Tehama, Glenn, & Colusa Counties.
