Redding Rodeo

As I start my second time as President of the Redding Rodeo Association, my mind wanders back to when I joined in 1979. We were the Shasta County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo. Our total rodeo cost was less than $100,000 to produce. When I became President in 1993 it was a lot more work, with more committees and a lot more planning to produce the rodeo. Today as we start work on our 2012 rodeo, we have much larger requirements to produce the finest rodeo. Our 64th rodeo will have the top cowboys and cowgirls and the best livestock available. To do this it takes the commitment of all our members. We are the only rodeo association in the North State that maintains its own facility. If you would like to join a great organization, we are looking for men from all walks of life to join. If you want to help produce the Rodeo, we have both Regular and Affiliate memberships available. Come join what I believe is the greatest rodeo in California.
