RedR India is part of the International RedR network; a non-profit, humanitarian organization which maintains a register of professionals, who are available to assist governments and external support... agencies that work in the humanitarian and disaster risk reduction sectors, and builds the capacities of individuals and organisations. RedR assists in relieving suffering in humanitarian situations by maintaining a roster to call on for emergencies, relief work and disaster risk reduction. In normal times, RedR India utilises its diverse and skilled team of trainers who work with individuals and organisations to better prepare, practice and learn for more effective and efficient responses to disasters. RedR India Training incorporate a hands-on approach to doing humanitarian work and help professionals carry out their duties in a more efficient and practical manner In addition to in-house training for potential humanitarian workers, RedR India designs and delivers highly rated, bespoke training courses for International and National NGOs and UN agencies. Issues such as gender, power, inter-agency relationships, public health, emergency response principles and core standards are mainstreamed into all training modules. RedR members and trainers are specifically prepared to have perspectives on poverty, gender, law, geopolitics and security.
