Red Sea Hotels

The chain of RSH is a young and dynamic group of companies. The Red Sea Hotels Egypt was founded in the year 1985 with the opening of Shedwan Golden Beach. The very well-known Grand Hotel followed in the year 1992, in 1998 the Grand Resort was opened, and also in the year 2000 was the opening of Siva Grand Beach Hotel. The newest members of the family are the Shedwan Garden Hotel, built in the year 2003, in the year 2004 and 2005 the Grand Makadi and the Makadi Palace Hotel where built. In the same year the Ghazala Beach and Ghazala Garden joined the chain, the last mentioned was completely re-built in the year 2006. For the year 2007 the opening of the Grand Sharm is plannend. A lot more projects are on the way: in Makadi, Sahl Hashesh, Marsa Alam and Taba as well as at the meditarean sea. Resorts as well as golf courses and wellness hotels. The actual amount of rooms will be around 4.000. Another part of the chain is the Grand Cruises with seven, 5 star Nile cruise boats and a total capacity of 400 cabins, which are promising a luxurious atmosphere for exclusive cultural package tours and Nile cruises. Also the tour operator ETI, based in Frankfurt/Germany and Vienna/ Austria is belonging to the family of the RSH. For a perfect handling at the destination of Egypt the in coming agency CET Cairo Express Travel is in charge - another part of the RSH chain-with its 480 staff members in Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Assuan, Marsa Alam and Cairo with 40 buses, several microbuses, jeeps and limousines. The Red Sea Hotels are owned by a private family and is working with international management staff. In total more than 6000 personnel are employed.
