Redwood Pediatric Therapy Associates

Redwood Pediatric Therapy was established in 1994 by a small group of dedicated Occupational Therapists. They formed a Non-Public Agency to provide educationally-based occupational therapy to children in the Sonoma County public schools with special needs. This group included Sarah Field MA OTR/L, Robynne Neuhaus OTR/L, Tess McCarty Oster OTR/L, and Diane Orsini-Tarkman OTR/L. The mission was to develop programs for the child with special needs in collaboration and partnership with local school districts and the Sonoma County Office of Education. As the director, Sarah Field MA OTR/L, and her husband and CFO, Mike Bell. expanded the clinic-based practice, and the first large clinic space was opened in 2001. In the Fall of 2010, RPTA moved to its current, uniquely designed space to accommodate the growing demand for clinic-based services for children. Sarah W. Field MA OTR/L is the director of Redwood Pediatric Therapy Associates, Inc. She received her undergraduate degree in zoology from University of California at Davis and her Masters in Occupational Therapy from University of Southern California in 1983. Ms. Field studied with A. Jean Ayres and is certified in the Southern California Sensory Integration Tests (SCSIT) and the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT).
